VMware vRealize Automation 8.10.0 and vRealize Automation SaltStack Config 8.10.0

This version finally introduces the integration support between vRA and vRO user interactions, I have looking for this feature for a long time, and hope to do some testing of this and maybe later write a blog about this.

What’s new:

  • vSphere 8 Support
  • Cloud Guardrails (vRA Cloud Only) – Guided Setup
  • Display salt grains data in Cloud Assembly for a more detailed resource view
  • Provide the ability to set custom salt grain data with SaltStack Config resource on Cloud Template
  • Custom form fields with defined valueList are displayed as multi value picker
  • Integration support between vRA and vRO user interactions
