VMware vRealize Automation 8.9.1 Released and Other
VMware has released vRealize Automation 8.9.1, vRealize Automation SaltStack Config 8.9.1, vRealize Orchestrator Appliance 8.9.1 and vRealize Operations Management Pack Builder 1.0
vRealize Automation 8.9.1 and vRealize Automation SaltStack Config 8.9.1
This new version have some vary interesting new things, and bug fixes.
What’s new:
- Share Terraform based content source across projects
- Code Stream – Share pipeline across projects
- Support Github Enterprise on-prem from vRA Cloud
- Cloud Guardrails (vRA Cloud Only) – Violations, Delete for Templates & Desired States
- Multi-Persona Support with RBAC
- Deleting of Templates & Desired States
- vRO now accepts certificates from vRA and vSphere that have been signed by a trusted certificate authority
- Support for IP Address/Range Restriction Authentication Policy
- Infoblox external IPAM plug-in for vRA support for DNS A and PTR records
- ix configuration for multiple NICs is now supported by Infoblox 1.5. IPAM plugin
Resolved issus:
- External validations via API can now handle action parameters of type array/reference
- Deployment History tab broken on vRA UI after upgrade to 8.8.2/8.9 (KB89347)
- I have not updated our demo/test environment at the moment, so I have not checked this
