VMware Releases this Week

This Week VMware has released some new versions of there vSphere products.

vSphere 6.0 Update 1b, this is mostly security, like disabling TLS1.0, and bug fixes:

Some of the Bug fixes:

Virtual machine stops responding during snapshot consolidation on ESXi 6.0
Expansion of eager zeroed VMDK causes the VM to be inaccessible
Hostd repeatedly stops responding with Signal 11 error
Attempts to take a backup on VMware vCenter Server might fail

vSphere ESXi 5.5, here is a patch out that solves a problem running mixed 5.5 and 6.0, and also under upgrade, see KB here: http://kb.vmware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?language=en_US&cmd=displayKC&externalId=2141207

NOTES

there is a KB out if you are upgrading from vCenter 5.5 3b to 6.0 1b will fail, the solution is in the KB, it can be found here: http://kb.vmware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?language=en_US&cmd=displayKC&externalId=2142020
